FENIX Trumpets are handmade in Italy, produced by the highest quality parts

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Bell: One-piece red brass, 0.6 mm thick.
Bell diameter: 142 mm, with French rim.
Leadpipe: Medium heavy, 0,9 mm thick, machined from solid Brass.
Receiver: Heavy, machined in nickel silver.
Pistons: Meinlschmidt MAW pistons.
The B2 is a modern trumpet with a large, wide-cone bell made in red brass.
The sound signature is big and powerful, rich in overtones and ringing
harmonics.
The fundamental idea behind this design is to offer musicians an instrument
capable of bringing out their own unique sound.
The bell shape is designed to help you keep a stable sound even if you push it very
loudly, and to keep a uniform sound accross the different dynamnic levels.
The weight of the B2 is slightly heavier than most standard trumpets, with more
weight added to the receiver, leadpipe and the bell. It is braced more sparingly
than the B1, allowing the instrument to resonate freely. This choice synergizes well
with the slightly thicker materials.
Additionally, each of our trumpets allow the musician to customize and optimize
the instrument's response. FENIX trumpets feature a threaded receiver that allows
you to change the venturi (the starting diameter of the leadpipe - establishing the
first point of resistance for the trumpet) and the gap (the distance between the end
of the mouthpiece and the start of the leadpipe).
Simply unscrew the receiver and replace the internal piece with a different size.
This allows you to adapt the instruments resistance and feel to match your specific
needs.
All the details of the trumpets are made with CNC machinery to ensure
maximum quality and precision.
